Headphones problem

Hi all!

I have a problem with my Xperia M (C1905) and headphones.

I have a pair of headphones model Yamaha pro 400 and I can't get any sound to them on Xperia M, the music just plays on the speaker in the phone itself and not in the headphones. It works fine with the headset/headphones that comes with the telefphone from the box.

Why is that?! The headphones (Yamaha Pro 400) worked perfectly on my previous phone and works on my computer!

Please anyone have any ideas of what it could be?

Sorry for bad english.

Thanks!

may be your yamaha pro isn't compatibility with xperia M

whne you plug in headphone to phone does phone switch to headset mode?or does it notify about compatibility?

Hi,

I got the same problem with my Philips Headphones. But the weird thing about this is that they were working perfectly with my Xperia M until last week. When I connect them now, only the phone speakers are activated. But the headphones aren't defect, they still work with other devices.

So the problem can't be that they're not compatible, because they were working normally until last week! Has there been an update of some system app that's responsible for this?

strange

Try setting>apps>all>smart connect

Clear cache and data force stop and reboot phone

Same problem here! No headphones working here of any type! I made a factory reset and worked fine for two days! Its note working again! Some kind of bug! Everything is fine with your head phones! Xperia M is the problem! Hope with the new update they could fix a lot of this small bugs that kept me from using my smartphone decently!
