headphone functionality changed automatically!!!

Hi the headset I got with xperia p used to change songs,  pause and play them,  pickup and disconnect calls but  now I dont know why they just adjust the media and call  volumes.  Does anyone know how to change this setting????

As I said ealier:
Jays handset wont work on ICS because of architecture of its lock screen.
