hangout sending same sms mutiple times?

problems with hangouts! periodically. when I send SMS, it then send the same message several times?

You will have to contact Google regarding this, what if you remove your google account > restart the phone and try again?

Try Clearing the hangouts data.

How to clear data on apps.
From your Home screen

1. Tap the Application screen icon.
2. Find and tap Settings > Apps.
3. Swipe to the All tab.
4. Find and tap on the hangouts app.
5. Tap Force stop > Clear data.
6. Restart the phone

I have tryed to reset, clear the cache,  changing sms app. form standard to hangouts,and then to messenger.

i got the same problem. Same sms is being sent repetedly, or as an empty one.

mainly when i use emoticons

Sony sends the problem to google, quick and simple solution.

and it is not only the Z3, i kill my Z3 yesterday and swaped back to my Z1, same problem, so it is not lollipop.
