Xperia Z3 2 problems

Hi Everyone,
This is vinjoy.
It's great to be part of Sony.
I have recently upgraded from my old Sony Xperia neo V to Sony Z3 in April April.
Although my friends were suggesting to go for iPhone 6, I did not like it it. I went for Sony as m comfortable with it and also it has very good features. Just loving my phone.
But I have two problems:
* phone is getting heated very fast at the top back part part When browsing or watching videos.
* another problem is that, as per the home page of Sony Z3 it states 2 days of battery life even after watching videos and browsing. But m getting max one day battery life after using just social networking networking(whatsapp, fb and Gmail) and watching few videos shared on fb..
Can anyone suggest what could be the issue? Also what steps I need to take to resolve it.

Thanks and regards
Vinjoy Rego

Heating is normall to the back . If it gets really hot , try lowering the screen brightness and the heat should lower. Although if it was over heating , the phone would probably shut down it self.

The 2 day battery advertisment is made because the phone's battery can survive UPTO 2 days. But its just made approximately it wont for sure survive full 2 days without charging. I think its for just making calls not for browsing the internet all the time. Actually im really not sure how to understand the 2 day battery advertisment because my phone never survived more than 9-10 Hours only after activating Ultimate Stamina Mode then it was 1 Week.

Thanks for the quick response..

Yeah.. Battery is draining quickly.. Haven't put stamina mode. Since it will turn off the WiFi when screen is off.. Then there is no use in getting a smart phone if we are not connected to social media...

Stamina mode not necessarily will turn off the wifi,  you can turn it back on but the stamina will be still on

I'm having the same issues and I strongly believe it's down to lollipop 5.0

Ive had this phone for almost a year, the battery life was awesome until I updated the software from kitkat to lollipop Slightly_frowning_Face

I have reduced brightness of the screen.since then it has reduced the battery consumption as well. I had charged fully yesterday at 2 pm UK time. Still it is showing 47% remaining.. Earlier for display it used to consume approx 25% of battery, now it shows 12% consumed for display. it's a huge difference..

Thought to share if it's helpful to anybody else.

Up to 2 days battery life works on the SOT.They work on an average of 5hrs a day SOT.So the higher the brightness the lower the SOT
