G Mail Deletions

Hi,  I have a G Mail account which I have set on both my PC & my phone.

In order to save space I've been deleting e-mails the last couple of days from my phone.

I've just found that these are also being deleted on my PC but I don't want to lose them from my PC

I use Windows Live Mail on my PC, so does anyone have an answer how I can delete from my phone but retain on my PC, please?

You can't as the account is linked - The app is just a mobile version of Gmail on a Pc

Thanks Thommo, that's what I was hoping no-one would say

Let me try to look at it differently.  Does a GMail take up storage space on my phone?  (I'm thinking YES but I could be wrong)

Just the app not the emails - Everytime you open the app it will sync with your account online - No Internet connection then all you get to see is the cache or what it has already sync'd but deleting these when offline makes no difference because as soon as you reconnect they will all come back
