Files transfer so slow - Sony Brigde for Mac

Files transfer so slow between Xperia S and Macbook Pro when use Sony Brigde for Mac (Macbook Pro mid 2010 with Snow Leopard 10.6.8).

I don't know if it's my mac's problem or SonyBrigde's problem.

(Sorry if this discussion is made before).

Have you tried both the sync feature and to drag-and-drop? Any difference in speed? Try this if you haven't already and let me know.

I don't use sync feature because I have no need to use it.

I just use drag-n-drop to copy movie file (~2Gb) into my phone but it need more than 1 hour to complete!

why don't you just drag and drop the files directly into your internal memory? w/o any other software

No, I  did and just wanted to do  by Sony Bridge for Mac. And why I had to ask/report problem to our forum if I use another software?

similar issues occur with Media Go on PCs, Its a lot easier just transfering w/o programs Dizzy_Face

If you transfer a smaller file (e.g. 20mb) and then compare the speed of the transfer with what you get when transferring 2GB files - any difference?

I just did compare transfer speed between Bridge for Mac and Companion for Windows by copying 2gb movie file to XS. Time for completing:

Bridge: about more than 1 hour.

Companion: about less than 15 minute.

Thank you for this feedback. I will send it on to the Bridge for Mac team.

For now I cannot really give you a solution to this problem. My best advice for now would be to not use Bridge for Mac and instead just copy/paste the files if you are in a hurry.

nervously Just bought a Z1 phone after years on the apple ecosystem. I am exited and love the waterproof feature, which clinched the deal finally.

Looks great, but i cant play with it yet... and am now getting a bit peeved. It taking hours and hours and hours to tranfer files from my mac. just want my photos on there.

will it always be like this from eh mac? if so

I will take it back if file transfer is this slow and revert to a new Apple product.
