email app problem

hi peoples

getting to grips with the Z1c but really frustrated by the email app which seems really erratic and slow.

as this is what i use phone most for its kind of a problem -  just moved across from iPhone so kind of lost on what to do.

some of the issues when not working (about 70% of time)

- when i open app I'm met by blank screen - just says "tap one email to preview it here (but there aren't any yet?)

- hit top left envelope icon  - swipes across ok but again blank screen

- when accounts do turn up switching between them is painfully slow

- hit reply to message - but previous sender address doesn't  come up in my new email  "to" box

sometimes things magically resolve themselves either all together or one by one - this by exiting app starting up again etc  not sure why ...Email is set up correctly with 5 accounts - i  it can work perfectly when it wants to??

have tried switching on and off wifi..power saving modes to see if that has any impact but doesn't seem to change things

is it the volume of emails/no of accounts/connection to various servers thats causing the problem and causing the lag in the apps response?

Help!!

I use an Exchange account for e-mail and contacts and have no issues. I actually love the e-mail app, very fast and responsive.

What kind of accounts do you have (exchange/pop/imap) ?

I use POP3 and have weird issues on setting up the accounts (multiple).

Configuration won't store my e-mail address properly. It combines the login name with domain address instead of using the address I type in as the account first setup parameter. Therefore this application is basically unusable for sending out e-mails.

And it has a different behavior depending on e-mail address and login account information. It works for 1 out of 3 accounts I use.
