Drains battery and need to re-register finger print

Changed from Z3 to Z5 2 mths ago. The Z5 battery drain really fast. Same usage, same app, same setting as my Z3, but the battery last way way shorter, about 60% of my Z3. Really disappointed.. Another thing is the thumb print sensor.. When you 1st register, its all accurate and good. After sometime, (typically a few days), the accuracy of the sensor will be out.. I need to rely on luck to unlock my screen by thumb print.. i need to re-register the thumb print every few days in order to keep its accuracy high... Pls do something.. If not, this will be my last Sony phone...

Well SONY release updates but do they solve the problem?? Update will not fix your battery crippled by the prevoius update...

I have the same problem too. Battery drain very fast. Can't last long as Sony says it can last for two days. The fingerprint function too. I'm using a z5 premium. I used a z2 b4 and I think the z2 would be better than now. I quite disappointed as I'm a big fans of Sony. I not only have this problem but I still have a software problem. I hope that Sony will find a way to help us settle this problem.

I came from Z2. My Z5 has a bad battery life compared to Z2! There are days that I can 4 hours and half SoT. There are days that I can 3 hours. Sometime the percentage drops 2% at once! It is a software problem! Let's wait for the Sony fixed!

@traveller_cz

Your issue is from the Xperia Z1 Compact, and a lot of your posts were removed because they didn't follow the forum guidelines, now you are posting on Z5 posts, and you are welcome to participate but your issue its on a Z1 Compact don't spread rumors, here are the forum guidelines, yet again

Again, get your Xperia Z1 Compact inspected by your Local support, instead of assuming that Sony is killing your phone through updates.
