Drains battery and need to re-register finger print

Changed from Z3 to Z5 2 mths ago. The Z5 battery drain really fast. Same usage, same app, same setting as my Z3, but the battery last way way shorter, about 60% of my Z3. Really disappointed.. Another thing is the thumb print sensor.. When you 1st register, its all accurate and good. After sometime, (typically a few days), the accuracy of the sensor will be out.. I need to rely on luck to unlock my screen by thumb print.. i need to re-register the thumb print every few days in order to keep its accuracy high... Pls do something.. If not, this will be my last Sony phone...

For the battery draining, it's would be useful to fully charge your phone and use it as usual, when it reaches below 20% go to Settings -> Power management -> Battery usage -> take a screenshot and post it here so we can have an idea of what's draining your battery.

For the fingerprint sensor, it will sometimes act weird if your finger and/or the sensor itself gets dirty or sweaty. When this happens next time, try wiping your thumb and the sensor if needed and check if it get better.

The fingerprint issue i tried to wipe my finger clean, but its still not good enough. It will still take a few tries to unlock the sceen..

Ok, so i got the screenshots. From today 752am (100%) to 1pm (18%). My brightness are set to 75% during day time. For the same usage, my Z3 will left me about 40-50% at this time. Thats why i very unhappy with the Z5 batt... I understand its smaller, but the difference is too BIG....

charge the phone 100% use it as you normally would then once the battery reaches 10%

settings > power management > battery > take screenshots of:

1. the list

2. tap on the graph and take a screenshot

3. back > tap on the top 4 items on the list > take a screenshot of each 

post them all here or upload the screenshots to box or dropbox or google drive or etc and post the link

Z5 premiums seem to have a lot of problems. I have had to factory reset which seems to have fixed the major lag problem (for now). I'm keeping an eye on the battery drain. It never gives the amount of battery time that their estimated times would state.

@hcfsimon .. wow that's very poor SOT, I usually get around 4 hours in full charge and I complain about that.

Before my Z5, I was using Oneplus one which use to give around 6 and half hours of SOT, loved it. Hardly use to charge that phone.

I heard a lot of positives about Z2 and Z3  battery backup and decided to buy this expensive Z5 but battery performace is very bad. Really disappointed.

Sony should do something to imporove the battery, not the standby modes performace but the actual battery backup.

Otherwise this will be my last Sony phone.
