Hello! I've found the double tap to wake up to be very sensitive when the phone is put in my pocket, the screen unlocks on its own and sometimes the flashlight gets toggled.
Have you applied a protective film and/or tempered glass?
As for the flashlight and the other "issues" while the phone it's in your pocket, most likely you are pressing the physical camera button w/o realizing it.
The z3+ comes with a screen guard applied out of the box. I guess the screen turns on when a notification/call arrives even if it is in the pocket, the proximity sensor can be put to use here.
I don't have a Z3+ but tested a Z3 and the screen should not turn on when you receive a message, do you have a third party messaging app or another notification app?
I have everything in stock, no other notification apps installed.
The screen unlocks itself on its own when it is in the pocket with double tap to wakeup set to on, doesn't otherwise. I don't think notifications trigger this behaviour.
@uliwooly Really good that I'm scared it's going to become skynet. Jokes apart, it could work in parallel with the peoximity sensors so that it doesn't trigger itself on when in the pocket like the Lumias. For now, I have double tap to wake up turned off when i know the phone is going to be in my pocket for longer periods.
