Thats why I have done the calibration fix months ago.....
Where was it answered? I must have missed it...
So if I do the calibration I can forget about ICS, or loading ICS will keep the fix?
thanks
I would like to get same answer too...
So Sony does upgrade to ICS overwrite calibration fix?
If it is software fix - why same fix in NOT included in ICS ?!?
My SI is 1249-7819 - what region is that SI? and hope to see update for that SI very soon... middle of the month... I think that is your deadline...
Where are you from? I am from Croatia and my SI is 1249-7813. That s close
To everyone who believes this so called "Calibration fix" is going to solve the problem with this phone- Trust me, It wont!
I had got this fix done from an authorized SE service centre 3 months back and the phone worked fine until yesterday, when the problem reappeared! Thats it, this fix is not a permanent solution! Way too dissapointed with SONY!!
Also Croatia
but I don't thing there is SI only for croatia.. I have feeling that our phones are under some other region
did you get ICS?
I wanted to say this...calibration fix will not completely resolve the issue. I tested this again today. I have the phone in my pocket while was on sun out. When the phone reached 44 degree celsius it become useless. So yes I can confirm your statement. That is so shame! But better to do the calibration fix than no. Dont expect Ics will change or fix anything about this issue. It will become much worse as the ics use more power. Ant the summer is here so expect trouble when you will be out taking sin.
Ics will not remove the fix. If you have this problem, do the calibration fix before updating to ics if you want to be able to ise the phone normally. This is my point of view because I know how was before the calibration....
