Does any one else have an xperia ray that dosn't say where its made in?

hi ive got a sony xperia ray gold version and just realised that either on the box or on the phone its self states where its made in! does anyone know why i dosn't say on the box or phone where its made in? it seems genuine to me because it works with genuine sony software parts are genuine same as battery and extras it even locates the phone as sony ericsson st18 on the sony pc companion

It should say on the sticker you find behind the battery. Check at the very bottom of the sticker. It should say: "Made in XXXXX".

If this cannot be found here, please send med a PM with the phone's IMEI number and SI number(please refer to this thread so I don't forget what it's about :smileyhappy:) and I will see if I can find any info about your handset.

Both these numbers can be found behind the battery on the sticker.

SI XXXX-XXXX

IMEI number is 15 digit long.

it says nothing about made in on the sticker

SI 1252-0519

IMEI number is 35959004-522083-4

Thanks for that.

I can see that this is a Xperia ray, manufactured in China. When searching on the IMEI number it also says that it belongs to SI 1252-0519.

It also says that it was activated on June 8th and it states Cyprus as country.

All look normal and everything appears to be OK.

how did you find this infomation on the phone? any links so i can check this out my self? how come it dosnt state this on my phone where its made in?

We have internal tools for this and I cannot share access to these.

I don't know why it's not printed on your sticker. It might be as simple as a mistake when the stickers were printed and that a batch of phones got these stickers without "made in xxxxx" info on it.

Call the local support office and ask them about this. If it's a regional thing, they should know I guess.

so sony has this access to see this details? why did they tell me they cant find this out when i opened a online live chat with them?
