ICS : Android System when EDGE/Wifi off!

Hello Xperian Users,

I see that the usage of "Android System" when GSM/3G/4G/Wifi is in OFF mode reaches upto 75% . Is it a normal behaviour?

Experts : Could you explain whats happening when internet is OFF, why is it reaches that heep amount of usage???

Have you looked in running applications to see if theres an app using more than normal

IE: It may be an app that is constantly trying to connect to the net and once it has it enters normal power usage mode

For example, i have installed Dropbox and its logged in always. There are few applications which are authorized in ICS to connect by itself once its logged in. Only those such apps were running, because even though i kill it from 'Running & Cache Services' it starts by itself.

Apart from that no other apps were running.
