Display notification is not displaying

Hi. after last update to my xperia z3 compact to android M there is no problem, but after a day the display notification is displaying itsself when im typing a messege, and this is the problem, the notification is not showing when im slide down the screen

Any solutions? Thanks.

what was the notification?

does it happen when you are in safe mode?

or can you take a screenshot of it when it happens?

 when in landscape mode,  but when in portait mode im trying to slide down, the panel notification is not showing the panel, so im manually open the app and check the notification,, hmmm LCD issue or new update android M bug ,,, pls help me solve this problem , thanks @alexdon

It might be a touchscreen problem. Can you test the screen in diagnostics?

Hi,

It looks like upper part of my screen is not working, hance I can't type the code correctly to be able to use my phone.

I can receive phone calls and I am able to answer them, but afterwards screen remains "locked".

PC Companion requires screen to be unlocked in order to use the program. Soft reset does nothing.

Anything I can do apart from a factory reset ? ? ? Did anybody experience anything like that ?

Do you think it might be due to my new screen protector, but this issue would affect the whole screen I think not only upper half. Thanks a lot guys.

It can be from screen protector indeed, but first try to restart into safe mode and check if you still experience it before you try without the protector.

Thanks for a quick reply. Unfortunately "Power Off" option ...guess what, is positioned on the upper part of the screen haha

Therefore I won't be able to access"Safe Mode" and perform "Factory reset" either. Is there any way to perform factory reset without accessing "Safe Mode"/ "Recovery Mode"? this is becoming so annoying ...

His with the new update the status bar in the home screen does not come down instead I get a search application. I reinstalled the update bur to no avail l. Any help
