phone won't start properly after system update

Hello, 

I just bought my phone 2 days ago and when I did the system update it restarts the phone, says its optimysing and then it gets stuck at the Xperia screen and won't start the phone. 

 please tell me what I can do to make it start properly

I am sorry to hear about that.

First, could you try starting the device without an SD and SIM card inserted, just to make sure it isn't related to the cards?

If that does not make a difference, then just as @victor91r wrote, I would recommend that you try a software repair using Xperia Companion. This will insert brand new software in your device which mend what you're experiencing if it's software related.
