disable miracast on Xperia m2

Since the latest Android Update I can't watch SkyGo, I get the error message, SkyGo doesn't support Miracast. I can't find a way of disabling Mirroring

Neither sky or Sony will relent the new upgrade blocks all sky TV and there's no way of getting rid of miracast

I too can't watch either Skygo or BT Sport since I foolishly updated software. Have emailed Sony & they seem not to want to help and will now try Sky but I suspect I'll get the same response.

What bothers me is the fact you cannot it seems go back to the old software which frankly I was happy enough with and the Sko go & BT worked fne on my M2. Or can someone tell me how to revert back to previous version?

I am tempted to just go & buy a new phone & dump Sony out of protest.

Google is your friend. Search for "Xperia M2 flashtool" and go from there. You can find full instructions on how to flash older firmware. Just make sure you've backed up all your data first.
