damaged

yesterday due to a large accident my phone got damaged but not too much

actually the cover which lies on the bottom of my xperia p has been damaged a lil bit

is it possible that the company would just replace the lower removable part

i am not asking to replace the whole phone but just the removable part

i have purchased this phone of about 4-5 months ago and is still in warranty period

so will the company help me in this?

thankyou

hi there, its better to visit a nearby sony center on your city. some sony center and cellphone store offers a wide variety of caps for our xperia P.

Normally, the bottom cover can be changed, but it depends on the store you bought the phone from,go to them and demand an answer.

Hello Pratik,

if the bottom plastic cap is the only thing damaged (I assume the led strip is fine and working) better u check out ebay as they do have the bottom cap to buy and in india going to the service center is a big pain in the arse as they dont keep spares with them and may be ur one single plastic cap would need 10 days to be delivered from chennai !!:smileylaugh::smileysilly::smileylaugh:

We have the same accident, but mine was not my Fault, my Xperia P also has a lil bit damage on the plastic bottom (transparent strip is safe), also a few Dents and minor scratch on the upper right side of the XP, well I'll rather wait 1week or more for Sony to fix my Phone (still on warranty period) than buying some parts on ebay.

here man this is the story, http://talk.sonymobile.com/message/381087#381087 , I'm asking to the ones who replaced their Xperia P's body by using their warranty , cause I'm afraid to pay such high amounts of Pesos, you know Sony here in the PH florenz. =(
