Hi, I did have an Xperia P and it became faulty. I had a full refund and went to a different retailer and purchased a new one.
It was factory sealed, but already on ICS? I thought it would have been on Gingerbread like my previous one was when bought new?
I'm also sure there was an over the air update a couple of months ago, but my handset says it's up to date.
Is this normal, or could this be a customer return?
Thanks
I bought my Xperia P about a month ago and it also came preloaded with ICS. The box has an Android 4.0 sticker on it.
Ok thanks. The last 'P' I had didn't, it was on Gingerbread. I think...
It's OK. New phones are shipped with the latest android version (available).
As you can see on the phone sofeware update page:http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/software/phones/xperia-p/
"You may already have the latest software, depending on the date of purchase."
