Cost of repair for Xperia C screen

Hello,

My phone had water damage and it would not start. Authorized Sony service center person told me that my screen would have to be replaced as it is damaged, and that it would cost around INR 6700.

I wanted to know that is it that costly to repair the screen? Just wanted to verify as I don't want to get cheated by them.

based on what other users have reported, it's usually 50% the price of the phone to replace the Screen.
