I´ve bought a Xperia L. Myu former celphone was a Sony W200. By PC companion I couldn´t transfer my contacts because teh companion didn´t recognise w200. So I tried to transfer the contacts using the SIM Card, but I know that the contacts are in the Xperia L because When I receive a call, it shows the name of the caller that I have on SIM card but I can not see any contact in Xperia L when I look for on contacts....
I also tried new entries on contacts screen (add new contact) fill the data, message "saved contact" appears but.... I can not see the saved contact. Can you tell me the path for viewing contacts....and editing them....
Thanks for attention.

Go to Contact Press Menu>Import Contacts>Import from=Sim card
I think you should no longer use that native software to manage your contact. You can now easily let Google to manage it. This way will be more optimal when using more than 1 device. For example, I have 1 iPhone 3GS, 1 Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini, and Sony Xperia L. All contacts are sync-ed properly. Just make sure you enable your phone to sync with Google.
Before you can use Google Contact, I think you should backup your contact manually from SIM Card to Phone. After that, try to move it to Google. Than you can manage it directly from your Gmail account.
Thank you. I will try to use google contacts. I didn´t know it before.
