If you 'broke' your phone because of flashtool, most of the time it's because the rom you flash is corrupted. Try to download again or from different souces.

I don't have a Neo L, but here's a rooting guide at XDA [REF][GUIDE][05.05.12]Rooting,BL unlocking,Recovery,Kernel installation[Noob's guide]. Hope it helps.
