Constant Xperia System Updates

Just purchased a new phone and I am constantly having to download and install Xperia System updates.  There have been 5 updates so far within a few hours and each one takes about 10 minutes to complete.  After each reboot, I immediately get a message that another update is available and needs to be installed.

Is this just something I'll have to do for a while before it goes away, or is there something else wrong that I need to look into?

The most recent one is telling me that I need to get 14.6.A.1.236

How do I get this to stop?

What device do you have? Normally, you should be able to go to settings-apps-all,scroll down to software update app, force stop and clear data. Restart.

Hello - I have a Z1 Compact - bought it today.  I'm showing that I have release build number 14.6.A.1.216 right now, which according to the Sony website, seems to be the most recent one.  But I keep getting asked to download something new.

OK! Updated to 14.6.A.1.236 done!
But after finish playing "Need of Speed, No Limit!
Application can't close, even after restart...

If you go to settings-apps-all and force stop need for speed, does it help?

Now the screen timeout stay on only few second even setting set as 10mins!
I tot update should kept the phone running smooth but it seem like not the case..

So this is related to need for speed? Can you boot in safe mode and see if the same occurs?
