Boot on safe mode and see if you're getting the same camera error. And check if you have enough memory where ever you are storing the camera images, either the Internal storage or sd card.

How to boot on safe mode on Lolipop
1. press and hold the power key
2. once you get the pop up menu
3. press and hold "power off"
4. Boot on safe mode should become available

If nothing works you can use Sony PC Companion to repair your phone.

Hi @xpm21,

I as well suggest that you try a software repair using PC Companion.

In PC Companion you press start on "Support Zone" > Start on "Update the phone/tablet software" > "Repair phone/tablet" (the blue clickable link in the message) > Follow these steps without having your device connected to the PC.

Follow the instruction that appears in the program and do not connect your device until this guide tells you how to connect it.

The software repair will remove all data stored in the phone so don't forget to make a backup in PC Companion before you try the software repair. You can do a backup using the Backup & Restore option in PC Companion.

I also have this problem.

After Lollipop update camera stopped working. Front and back camera, also flashlight.

Things I have tried:

*repair through PC companion

*safe mode boot

Any help?

Hi @stina86,

Sorry to hear that. If a software repair didn't solve this then I suggest that you get your phone examined by a technician at one of our authorised service partners. Contact your Local support for more information on how to proceed from here.

Thanks for the fast reply!

Isn't there any way to downgrade? Or is there any new update coming for m2 aqua? maybe that would help?
