The cable that has the USB at the end which fits into the end to the wall, why did Sony supply it so short?

I think it has 1m. But most of the cables are like that. Still,probably it was designed like this for charging only,not using while charging. Also,it might be for laptop or power bank charging.

Yeah,I know. But older SE cables were short too. I don't know what did you expect. If you need longer cables,buy 3rd party but don't expect the same quality.
