Can't set msg centre number

Very bad experience with Sony xa.
I cannot edit the text masseg center number. It's really embracing me..

Uliwooly, unfortunately my msg centre no was deleted. I don't know how. So I can't send any text msg. So now I have to put the sms center no on the masseg settings options. But unfortunately I can't edit or write any msg centre number on the message settings.

That's rather odd, what if you factory reset the phone?

Nothing changed. Same problem.

Before trying XC, open the dialer and type *#*#4636#*#*

Tap phone information, then scroll down, check the screenshot attached, look where I typed HERE, that is the field where you have to put your SMSC number and then tap update.

Try to send an SMS and let me know if it worked.

Doing the above then hitting update or refresh should make the message center no reappear
