Can no longer play Google Play Movies on tv

Prior to the 4.4.2 update to the Xperia Z tablet, I had no issues connecting and viewing Google Play Movies on my tv, using the MHL adapter. Now, it gives me an error: Premium content can't be played on this screen because it is not secure. Does anyone else have this issue?

Your not the only one since update same thing happens to me... Any one know how to fixz this?

Try with 'usb debugging' off in developer options.

Perhaps this works.

I am having the same problem on my Z2 tablet. Is there a known fix for this yet; it's very annoying.

This sounds like a change to their DRM files, this limitation is quite common with this sort of content so is unlikely to be altered back sorry.
