Hi,
Can anyone resolve the issue, as I already took it to sony service center and they guys updated the software and told me that there was a software issue in the phone, but after a day my phone again keeps restaring, showing a msg " sim card inserted".
I am a big fan of sony brand but after purchase of this phone the rating goes down. Its a worst situation of the phone even it keeps restarting during the calls.
I suggest do not purchase this phone untill it is not reolved.
please suggest what to do.

Almost the same problem here, in my case there is no pattern when it's restart.
And this phone has a lot of problems since launching.
Still waiting for the fix too.

That message means theres a sim card issue and in that it's been disconnected - This could mean that there is a software issue but more so your sim card is worn or dirty and is giving an intermitant connection
As Thommo suggested,try a new SIM and see if the same occurs.
I have the same problem too. my xperia L keeps restarting and sometimes it hangs before goes to restart. I changed simcard, update, use the pccompanion repair. still it restarts. Is it hardware or software problem and how do I get it fixed please info me sony.

I am having the issue of getting restarted automatically in 5 min gap. This happens even during calls and all the time. I tried my self and had given sony centre also. they reinstalled Android OS but still having the same issue. Very worst brand.....
Dont buy it. No worth for money.
