In gingerbread the camera button worked.... but when i upgraded to ICS the camera button stopped working.... how can i make it work ?
Dial *#*#7378423#*#* in dialer > service tests > hardware and keyboard > press camera key >
it may show auto focus or camera
then do the service test for camera and seee if you are able to take a photo

I checked and did the test.... the external camera button doesn't work in ICS on the ARC S.... but in gingerbread it did....
Holding phone vertically if you press the lower part of screen (near middle button) it does Auto Focus and take a pinsharp pic or video.
Problem fixed.... right menu button there are many options inc buttons to select to take pics with.... ICS went after the screen button.... i just selected the camera button .... but had to push hard to get focus lock and take pic....
I need to get use to this smart phone.... my old phone sony 810i - http://www.mobile-phones-uk.org.uk/sony-ericsson-w810i.htm
Is a lot easier to use but the Arc S is a lot better :-).... thanks for your help.
