How about to have an official bug fix / wish list here on the forum. Forum users to add their bugs and suggestions for continuous improvement to the Arc handset for the benefit of all Arc users and Sony!

Come on Sony forum reps, have you learnt from the past, are you up for the challenge?

I can kick things off with the following

Bug Fix / Wish List for next update after 2.3.3

Add support for BBC iPlayer downloads - support WMDRM10 or OMADRM2

Bug with user guide - Sony ref 90434693

Bug when connecting with PC companion, handset/PC companion reporting different battery levels - Sony ref 90430880

totally agree, even more...

I'd like no social networks app preinstalled. I think users should choose what they like more.

Here is my list of what should be removed from deault firmware:

postcard,

let's golf,

timescape,

facebook and all it's stuff,

whatsapp.

may be news and weather... make good weather widget instead of this.

well, i don't know if this possible, but what about firmware update, could you make it wireless?

And this procedure: hold button - plug usb cable - keep holding button and etc., it is just dances with tambourine around your phone.

How about that - software update available... download? -yes! install? - yes! reboot phone? - yes! Congrats you have latest software installed!!!

Sounds reasonable, isn't it?

i agree with you on the wireless firmware update - i miss that from my old HTC phones

however, the press button thing? I never had to do that -

plugged phone into laptop,

PC Companion went ~bing~ you have an update!

phone updated/rebooted all by itself

hm... interesting, may be I'm missing something

take a look on update service...

and this is pc companion

so, I'm not kidding, you should really do some woodoo magic tricks to update firmware...

After that, I could not understand how SE releases updates (versions + builds). A good friend of mine has the same Xperia arc as I have, he already received last build, I'm not, I've been told I have recent one and this is not true.

We both from Minsk, Belarus; both phones are not locked to any operator, actually operators are different, but this could not be an issue.

So, finally it would be greate to get clear and transparent update schedule, or protocol or something like that.

3>Options for Automatic Hide Screen Indicator(Little Squares on Top)

4>Enable Landscape Mode on Non Keyboard/PSP controller Xperia(Arc/Neo/Ray/Active/Mini)

Drop Down Status Bar

1>Options to Include System Settings Shortcuts(Wifi/Bluetooth etc)

App Drawer

1>Additonal Settings for App Drawer Effects(Fly In, Fly Out etc)

Please MOST of these Features are Important for USER EXPERIENCE, I hope someone cane forward our Request regarding this Features to be included
