Hi, my name is Stacy, this is my first sony phone although we have had several in our household. I am currently unable to use my phone (xperia z)as the little metal pin that is in where you plug the charger in snapped off after only having had the phone for 1 month, leaving me unable to charge my device. I contacted my service provider( vodafone) and was told this was wear and tear and basically my fault. I'm having quite a lot of difficulty finding anyone to fix it as they all say it's too new. My provider will gladly send it to their techs to look at but at a cost to me because it's my fault. I'm not sure how plugging the charger in every second day for a month caused the pin to break off, has anyone else had this problem. Is there a warranty period and is this issue covered by it?
