1) I was not able to push(send) files from phone to Mac over bluetooth. It showed phone is supporting only two services. But I was able to send those files to Windows 7 from the phone ! Why is it so ?
2) Another problem observed is every time you send files from Mac or Windows to phone, you have to accept it every time. Is there way to accept it always between trusted devices ?
3) Now can anybody tell WHAT ALL Bluetooth Services are supported by our Experia U ?
I have found that the BT services supported by XP U are given in xperia u white paper. But my mac shows only two of them are supported. So I am investigating further !
I'm glad you found out what profiles that the phone supports. I think that you will have to look deeper into your computer and why its only showing two profiles.
But is there a way to send number of files from windows PC to phone over BT without needing to accept each of them from the notification bar ?
You could use an app called Bluetooth File Transfer by Medieval Software. It allows you to remotely view the Bluetooth file on your PC/Laptop and multi select and then edit/copy/paste to the SD card of your phone.
It was a great app on the 2010 Xperias where some had quirky bluetooth issues and this may provide a work around for you.
Let me know if you try it and how it works out for you.
ok will try n let u know thnx
The solution is here: http://devilsworkshop.org/enabling-bluetooth-file-transfer-on-mac-os-x-leopard/
Works with Sony Xperia U and MacBook Pro 8,1 (2011).
The checkbox to enable bluetooth sharing is under: System Preferences->Sharing->Tick Enable Bluetooth Sharing (Bottom left hand side).
