Bluetooth car problem Xperia Z1

Hello,

I have the new Xperia Z1 and I have problems with bluetooth lost connection beetween mobile and car. Sometimes the connection is lost apparantely at random. I have a Toyota Rav4 and dealer told me it's not problem with the car, it's in Xperia, in fact with my HTC Desire I have no problem.

Could you help me with that?

Do you have a custom ROM or a Rooted device ...sometime this will causes issues with the Bluetooth .

It's not rooted. It's an Orange (France Telecom) mobile phone.

Maybe you have a software issue .... You can try a full phone reset from setting\ backup and reset  or do a full reinstall from this link below....  this is a sony support app that performs a full restore of  the phones software

Thanks for your help but I've been trying that and my services is updated to the last version so there was no need to update again. The program message was it was already updated to last version.

Same problems in combination with a BMW 530 - hard reset, new sw but nothing help and with the xperia S never this kind of problems!

Never had that problem with Chevrolet. You should probably get the car audio system checked again.

I have the same problem with my bluetooth headset. I'm sute it is something with the phone because I bought a a new one and the problem continues. First headset was Plantrinics second one is Sony

Same problem with my BMW 530d. Blue tooth and wifi issues plague this device. I couldn't find any fix online
