I brought tipo dual couple of week back. I am getting very good battery backup of around 1-2 days, with moderate to heavy usage.
But, right from day one, i have observed one strange problem. Battery status does not get updated (either decreasing or increasing) most of the time. If i remove the battery and put it back, i get to see the correct battery status. Even while charging the battery, the status jumps from say 65 to 100% within minutes and the status LED shows green. But, if i disconnect the charger, the status comes back to 65% again.
So,both during normal opeartion and while charging, the battery status does not get updated. I tried downloading many 'battery' apps from play store, but all those apps shows the same battery status.
Please let me know if anyone else also facing the same issue?

hi, i have been experiencing this issue right from day one...i didn't had any 'task killer', 'battery apps' at that time.
that's odd, are you using another home launcher? antivirus?

no, i am not using any other 'home launcher' and i haven't installed any 'aniti virus' app as well!
funny thing is, battery seems to be working fine...because, as soon as i remove the battery and re-insert, it shows the correct status...it seems like some 'software' bug for me...if by any chance, i am able to simulate 'battery re-insert' situation without physically doing it, i can still live with that 'temporary solution'...any suggestions are welcome.

i am re-installing the s/w again as per your suggestion...will let you know the status of the original issue once the update is done.
it should fix this bug
unfortunately, even 're-installing the s/w' did not resolve my issue
any other user facing this kind of a problem?
this is the problem that i am trying to explain it through this image...as you can see above, battery is fully charged but still shows only 37%...if i remove the battery and put ti back, then it shows 98%,which is correct.
