Battery is draining faster in 6.0

After updating 6.0 my battery only last long for 7-8 hr on above average use.Is there any solution to control this drainage of the battery because sony claims for two days battery life?plz help sony

It seems that something its keeping your phone awake, thus draining the battery fast.

You could try to boot on >>> safe mode for few hours and see if you experience the same issue, if you don't then it's a third party app.

I was having same problem in safe mode also so i repaired the software by xperia companion but i want to know that if i continuous use the device then for how many hrs it will last long with the prmanent screen onn?

I don't think anyone can answer that question as there are myriad variables that will affect battery life.

Should I update to Marshmallow 32.1.A.1.185 ? Is there any problems?

there is no such type of problem in 6.0 i directly updated the device after after parchasing as a result i feel that bttry consumption is quite more in 6.0.and apart from it, it is having very smooth u.i

Ever since I RELUCTANTLY upgraded to Marshmallow, my Z3 heats up even when asleep. Why did Sony have to remove their built-in power manager? Tha native battery optimizer of Android 6 isn't cut for Sony. I demand Sony to restore their power manager in an OTA fix or update.
