Speaker not working - Headphones plugged in notification but no headphones plugged in!

This phone has been nothing but problems since I got it. After 2 repairs that took 5 weeks, another fault -
The phone is detecting headphones plugged inventory though I never use them. As a result I hear nothing on calls unless I use headphones.
I've updated the latest software tonight and the problem is still there. Anyone got ideas how to fix this?

Try refreshing your Smart Connect app:

- Go to Settings -> Apps -> Smart Connect -> Force stop, Unistall updates, Clear data and restart your phone.
- Go to your Play Store and update Smart Connect again.
