Backed up data won't Restore

Hi,

I have backed up my data on the Sony Companion, that is all files, images etc.

I then had to send my Sony xperia z1 for repairs and it came back with the latest software. Now when im trying to restore my data on my phone, all of the data isn't getting transfered....information such as notes,messages are there, however images and videos are not?

Has anyone experinced a similar situation and has a possible solution?? Its really important for me to get that data back.

Did your returned phone have different firmware installed however what you could do is change the extension of the backup file to .zip or .rar and then extract the contents to a folder and in said folder you will be able to retrieve your images and music etc but not other things like messages only physical files as mentioned
