I charged my phone to 95% last night and used it for a bit, so the battery showed 93% when I went to sleep. When I woke up, the battery was at 86% and I haven't used it at all. Everything is off, WiFi, Data, etc., I have a still background and have turned off vibration of any kind, so I'm not sure what causes this drainage.
These are the stats from this morning:
Did you have Stamina mode or is Eco mode enabled as some apps like Google will still try to connect to sync or are checking for a connection which will use more battery so if it's doing this every say 30 minutes or hour then throughout the night those small checks will mount and may account for the extra % of battery usage
My phone has the power saver option but I didn't turn it on during the night.
So, Google will try to connect even if my wifi and data is turned off?
Yes most app mainly Google and sometimes your email app if setup will check for a connection so it will wake up then check for a Internet connection then once it can't establish one will go back to sleep and so the cycle continues at intervals throughout the night but if you turn on Power saver it will freeze all apps from been able to wake your device
Alright, thank you for the suggestion!
I'll turn on Power Saver tonight before I go to sleep, and see if it improves or not.
It should - well mine does so I'd assume the same will apply for you in this situation - but check if you have it, that you have no exceptions in apps like Smart connect if installed
