Back-up to SD Card

I upgraded to 4.4.4 and it seems like I cant back up my media when the notification that says "75% of internal memory full, back up to SD card" or something like that. When I click on the notification, nothing happens, when I look up the option under the "storage" menu, nothing comes up still so I cant back up using my phone at all.

Also, the camera continues to give me problems, I thought these would be resolved once I upgrade and it hasnt been, the camera will ocassionally have the notification "camera not available". This affects some of the apps that use the camera like instagram and whatsapp. I had no camera issues while I was still on Jelly Bean. Please help! Thanks.

What do you want to backup if you don't mind? If it is media,just copy and paste it manually using file commander.

Kitkat and Z1's camera are enemies. Specially in low light conditions. Z1's camera heats up too quickly which gives "Camera not available" error and Kitkat loves to freeze the camera. My hope is with Android L. Also, Kitkat limits the access to SD card for apps. Most apps will now store on internal storage only. You need to move things manually. Good security feature, bad user friendly feature.

My thing is, why have that feature if it doesn't work? It worked perfectly on my Xperia Z.

To back up those files, just go to the backup &restore app, select sd card , and let the process commence
