Automatic brightness not working after update.

The automatic brightness feature.

The most basic feature has stopped working after the ICS update.

It was there in GB. It was one of the most important features.

The feature is also shown in Sony's advertisement for Xperia U.

Now its not there with ICS.

Please help!

this will only work if u r have the default launcher. Too bright sunlight makes it unreadable anyways but auto brightness worksing better now, just tested it.

Yes as Arnab said.Direct sunlight is not good and full brightness also seems too les in it.

It worked really bad on GB, and it doesn't work at all on ICS. Several Repairs done and nothing happened... The sensor is working fine with that config dial that you guys talked about...
