Automatic brightness not working after update.

The automatic brightness feature.

The most basic feature has stopped working after the ICS update.

It was there in GB. It was one of the most important features.

The feature is also shown in Sony's advertisement for Xperia U.

Now its not there with ICS.

Please help!

actually it has started working with ICS. It was not working with GB.

It never brightens up in direct sunlight.

i have to toggle on the backlight button to see properly.

While back in GB, the auto brightness was a charm.

You can check the service repair menu to see if the light sensor in working corrrectly.
