Audio lost after unplugging headphones

After the 9.1.A.0.490 update, I sometimes experience loss of audio after unpluging my headphones. It's really bugging me that I miss calls because of this.

Lets just hope that on the upcoming 4.3 update this bug will be fixed.

Sigh for Sony. This problem is gna make me buy a different make of phone after being a loyal Sony fan for 10 years now.

I have same problem with my Xperia m after disconnecting my headset. pls fix this problem....

After having my phone updated to 4.3,  I think the bug is fixed. As of now, the internal speaker works fine after unplugging a headphone.

i have the same problem but after upgradeing to 4.3.....actualy now that i've read your post and thinking back days i belive the night be4 doing the upgrade i also used the headphones ....

Solved the issue quite stupidly!! I was desperately looking for some software issues but in the end it turned out that i simply neended to clean the plug. Somehow the detection unit must be located at the bottom and therefore was the only part which wasn't working properly (the reason why i obviously though of a software issue). So just make shure to clean inside the plug!

I got similar problem (No audio in phonecalls. Musik and loudspeaker worked fine). Blowing air in the the plugg with a "Air duster" can fixed the problem for me.
