Hello,
I dropped my phone onto the table today and the phone reset itself. Once loaded the touchscreen was inactive so had to reset the handset using Volume Up + Power combination.
Once the handset had reloaded and the touchscreen worked I discovered that the majority of the Apps icons on my Home Screen were missing.
I opened Applications Home (Menu) and they are missing from that also - regardless of the view that I have this on.
If I go into settings > Apps then they are all still listed but can not find a way to get the shortcut back. To load apps I have to search in Play store for it and click Open from there.
Is there anyway to rectify this or is it going to be a case of uninstalling and reinstalling each app that is affected?
Thanks!
Were those apps installed on SD?
I think the majority were on the SD Card, but there are some from the SD Card still visible.
Strange,I know google does not support this thing with moving apps to SD,it might be a consequence to that.
I've had them on the SD for several months with no issue.
Seemed a tiny drop to the table has killed my poor phone's patience with me! haha.
Oh well, It gives me a good reason to have a purge on apps i don't really need anymore i suppose!
Thanks for your help
