After Lollipop update my z3 is in a restart loop of death

Started up date last night.  After download and install, phone is just constantly rebooting itself.  I tried letting batteries completely drain then power up and also pressing the yellow reset switch with no help.

See if you are able to perform a software repair using PC Companion with the help of a PC.

I am having the same reboot loop problem as many users have encountered. I only see PC Companion suggested to fix it. I tried connecting my device (Xperia Z3) to it, but keep getting the message: "Sorry, but the phone / tablet does not work with PC Companion" and a link to the support site. I am following the directions for connecting the phone after holding down the reset button next to the SIM slot. 

Given the number of times I've seen this complaint on these forums, dating back a year, I was surprised this was happening to me this morning, until I came across this posting.

How can I fix my phone?

@QChilly I'm very sorry to hear that. If you are unable to perform a software repair your phone needs to be sent to an authorised service center for repair. You can contact your Local support team for information on where to find an authorised service center and how to proceed from here.
