Afraid to try my z2 under water

I know the phone is waterproof and we can use it under water, but after reading the posts im afraid even to try to wet my phone under tap water.

I dont have confidence as lots of people are complaining about the sony customer support when they had water leaks in their phones.

Don't try water proof test..i bought this 5 days ago and used it in rain about 10min. and then it's dead.

i sent it to local customer support team. but not hope much. Already some other user who have same problem sent their mobiles to there but almost of their reply is customer defult..even the water sensor inside phone not damaged. i'm not sure your local customer support team also same or not but if you can avoid then do it..

Just spent two weeks on holiday using my Z2 to film under water whilst snorkelling almost every day!!

Only problem was some slight misting on the camera lens the last time I used it. Got some great videos and pictures and phone is perfectly fine.

Fingers crossed it stays fine after resding through some of the forums!!

took mine on holiday in May and had it in the swimming pool for 2 weeks, not had 1 issue with it
