I bought Xperia M on the 01st of september 2013. Whan i use this CDMA network mode even without browsing or downloading any content the battery drains out in a matter of hours whereas in 2g mode it lasts upto 12 hours. Is this normal or is there an issue with the battery, should i get it replaced?
WCDMA will drain your battery faster, it all depends on how strong is your network coverage.
As far as I know, Xperia M has an above average battery backup. Mine lasts for atleast one and a half days even on a little more than average use and when i use it less, it lasts for 2days approx.
Xperia M battery backup is not better sorry.. All one can say is its average. That is my experience. However I dont think any of the android phones in this price bracket give you a battery backup you can be happy with.
But for me before the update battery was working fine after the update its drain my battery so fast even my phone is on standby mode. As soon as i remove the charger it went down to 100% to 99%. befor the update with same setting and same appas in my phone its was working perfectly
For all you here, if you experience battery drain problems or no battery backup...just check these out and let me know... because it was working for me..
Go to setting > apps >downloaded> force stop all the apps except the app you want to work....
My 100 % charge dint even reduce to 99 % for hardly 4 to 5 hours ( charged mobile at night and plugged out when it was full, at morning i found the charge 100 %)
I know doing all this u can save your battery liofe... but why we have to do all this stuffs manually to safe battery? like every other smart phone it showed do that by itself. an update should make the phone better not to go worse, sure sony should give us new update are should revert back to the old version......
Just the truth the battry..I wish i could modify... N put a nokia battry on it....
