The phone is written 1gb Ram, but actually found 650 mb Ram. It turns out the Sony has deceived us. Sorry my English.
No, there's RAM being used by the system.
The 650 MB are listed as free, right?
No is total Ram
Do not worry about it.
Xperia S does owns a GB ram but the hidden ram is used by android OS
Only 650 is user accessible
a portion of the total RAM it's only accessible by Android

Also to add to this computers read binary when it comes to memory or hard drives etc so 1GB will be seen by our phones as 931MB because due to binary computers see 1073Bytes per MB so 1GB or 1000MB Divided by 1073Bytes x 1000Bytes = 931.96MB and this will be the actual readable memory take away what your phone will keep to 1 side for it's operation
Please post in english.
