Those are bug fix for Google's devices. It may or may not apply to other hardware since OEM's are doing their drivers to tailor the OS to their hardware.

In any case, some problems on that list are present in the Sony Xperia z1 since upgrading to 4.4.2 and it is very annoying to have bought an expensive Bluetooth headset that became useless when upgrading to 4.4.2 on Sony's recommendation and find that in best case there will be a fix for it 6 months later.I'm moving back to iPhone.

The list of fixes is very interesting and will not only apply to google devices, because not everything is hardware related.

But it could have the same source. According to german wikipedia the update is available since 2nd June. So very fresh. The message in this thread can be: Sony we have seen the update and it sounds interesting. Please do not forget to fix "older" devices. The Sony forum is one point to make a public statement to Sony which will hopefolly be noticed. Contacting Support often gives default answers.

This seems to be mandatory because Google and the hardware manufacturer have not yet worked out a short bug fix process. Google tries to solve problems to update some major apps using the play store. But there are still some things which can not be updated using the playstore and as one update for every device.

The Sony blog is nice but it only gives information about if an update is already available. This is clearly the best information. But Sony could do better. They already mention which major release will be delivered to a device. They could also announce if a minor release is planned. This is my first Sony device. I had bad experiences with other devices. For example I never knew if my HTC device would get an update at all. I think they also changed their policies.

My last device was a Galaxy Nexus. As Google announced they will not release an update anymore I had all information needed to decide if I just deal with the situation or buy new update by purchasing another device. I could make better plans when to do a hardware exchange.

For some unknown reasons I think the update will come. Sony did this before for older devices. But it could be a littler faster.

if sony use this 4.4.3 itll be easier to them to make the update bugless well lets see what sony is doing but the latest 757 update is still buggy bluetooth and wifi issues and battery drain and heating issue are annoying plus the main big issue is the camera software its bad when taking low light pictures really bad
