4.3 upgrade : no ringtone for incoming calls/sms

Hi.

Since 4.3 upgrade, sometimes there is no ringtone for incoming calls/sms.

Because of that, I've already missed very important calls/sms because I've seen them many hours later.

When the problem occurs, I can't even hear the ringtone when I go in the config menu and try to change the ringtone !

I'm pretty sure it's not hardware problem because the situation comes back to normal when I simply make a call !!!

It's very annoying : receiving calls or sms are basic/essential functionnalities for a phone !!!

Some has the same problem ?

Someone has a solution ?

my phone product [XPERIA SP] is not on the SUS...how do i go about it?

Run the program in compatibility mode with windows 7.

no...am updating...my incoming ringtone isnt working after ungrading to kitkat...software is downloading right now

You cannot have kitkat on SP.Maybe JB 4.3.But good luck.

i think it's JB cos the android version is 4.3

I'm the author of this thread.

I did a repair 4 weeks ago and it seemed to have solved the problem.

Unfortunately, The problem came back today...

I'm sure it's not hardware problem because the situation comes back to normal when I simply make a call !!! without having to reboot...

I don't want to make a repair each month !

Such a problem is really unbelievable !

i just finished mine over night....now everything is working perfectly...
