Hello,
I just got my new Xperia L today and I am quite happy with it,
but somehow it does not detect my µSD-Card.
In the sd-card menu entries it only says "Enter SD-Card".
I tried to reformat the card with the computers card reader to FAT32 or to delete the partition completely using gparted,
it still does not show on the phone.
I am happy for any suggestions.
With kind regards
Markus
Edit: Got the wrong link for the sd-card, now it is the right one.
I was using a class4 sony micro sd 32 gb card. it was working fine until today. I found out that my device is failing to recognise it any more. any suggestions!!!!!!!!
i have an xperia l which i bought on 1st july. it itn't supporting a class 4 8gb transcend memory card.
the meory card works on other devices like samsung and nokia. pls help
Found a Class-10 UHS-1 microSD which works with my Xperia-L: SanDisk Ultra microSDHC 32GB Class 10
It takes some time for the phone to mount the card, but at least it's working
AnTuTu Benchmark score for the card: 341
The Transcend card I mentionned before still doesn't work, even after numerous different formats (fat32/exfat, allocation unit sizes) with Windows7 through a cardreader.
Also tried with the "format size adjustment" setting using the SDformatter from SDcard.org ... no change.
Sorry to hear about this problem.

Same problems. I found 5 years old Kingston 1 GB microSD memorycard and it works like an angel in L! Bought 2 cards, Samsung 32 GB class 10 Plus and Transcend 32 GB class 10 and lost 60 euros, these both says defective memorycard.
I can't recommend L to anyone here in Finland, sorry for that
I swapped cards with my father and I got a 32 Gb Class 10 card working.
This one does not work (MB-MPBGC/EU):

I just bought a new sd card 16gb class 10 patriot. My brother recommend it so i bought it but when i unserted, it reads but when i want to transfer data to sd card it fails again and again. And one time when i connect the phone to the computer it says my sd card blank and i need to format it but every time i formatted it, it fails and then it goes on and on ive read the thread that many ppl had the same problem as i am and i regret myself for buying the sd card bcs why would i buy something that wouldnt work in my phone. Besides, why dont just tell us that xperia L can only use class 6 sd card. I hope you can fix this and im waiting for updates soon o i can use my class 10 sd card pls reply thank you
So it seems that version of sofware (buildnumber) dosen't fix the problem. I have that older one. I tried to download new but Sony support gave that old one to update here in Finland. Richard, keep pushing with the problem !

MicroSD card :
God i love internet...im using similar transcend card like several guys here, thought my phone was the only one suffering such ridiculous disease..what an android phone with such high antutu benchmark yet wasn's able to use sdhc 32GB UHS-1 ??
it's so silly that someone here said that sony representative told him that xperia L just support class 4 and 6..while i was curious and put my uhs-1 card into asha 210 and it works fine..shame on you sony..even those cheap qwerty device such as asha doing fine with it..
i'm going to pm those sony representative and let's see what they've got to face customer in rage..at least they have to fix this bug soon,it's quite weird huh? you guys should know that from the very first, why the heck you made middle-/hi end smartphone while you tried to insist we should use low spec cards?? if it so,u should sell xperia L by the price lower than 100$, so it wouldn't be a problem if you said we're only able to use cheap sd cards
