Xperia xa1 bad signal

Hi

Upgraded from Sony aqua to xperia xa1 same sim card and the signal is not what I expected, doesn't even work most the time. 

GPS on Google maps is all over the place and can't even use the sat nav

Disappointed in Sony any one else had signal issues

On Sony support I am going to book a repair and send my phone off.

if you call them (maybe off someone else's phone due to signal) they can send you a link to do this aswell

I still need to book a repair haven't got round to it. Shouldn't really have to, buy a brand new phone then send it off for repair .

Users who are facing Network issue can switch to GSM only option settings for Airtel to get 100% network on Rest network mode it will be zero to One bar and multiple times out of coverage Not yet tried with Other service providers. I hope it Supports LTE and get prompt network with other Service provider like JIO

Hi.

I am yet to recieve a responce from Sony about the MASSIVE signal problem, I too have resorted to using my old phone, as I still cannot get a signal... The store I bought the xa1 from refuses to give me a refund(they state that they have not heard about the signal problems with the xa1 {because it worked it the shop... Well it worked the first day I bought it too!}) Even though UK return/refund Laws state: A refund can be given- If the product does not do what its supposed to do... (probably too late now to get a refund anyway).

To Sony, I strongly urge you to recall this product (Xperia XA1). If this issue is not dealt with at all, I will have no choice but to never buy another Sony product again... All trust will be lost. I'm just so dissapointed and feel extremely let down. I have spent £249 + £10 Top Up, on this product. I feel robbed to be honest... All this started as an inconveinence, now it's a big problem... I compare it to somebody buying a brand new car, and to find out the steering wheel doesnt turn.

Please Sony, Please sort this out. £250 is a very large amout of money for people like me.

What a joke... You should surley not have to reset or repair anything on a brand new phone... Too many people are having problems with this xa1 ( although 'Signal' is my only issue with this phone), there seems to be alot with either signal or screen problems...

Complete let down by Sony

Ive had about 4 Sony phones in a row now and they where good phones lasted me a while.

But now I'm disappointed and my old phone is going to stop working soon then I will have no choice but to use it.
